HOW TO DONATE

Consider making a donation to your local fire and rescue department!  The RVFRD accepts donations in various forms.  You can send a check to the firehouse, or even make a donation by means of PayPal.  Sometimes neighbors donate real estate to the department, or even specify their support in their wills.

These donations help the department purchase new equipment and apparatus. Without these donations, the company would not be able to provide the best fire and rescue service that you require (and deserve).

If you’d like to make a monetary donation you now have several options.  You can mail it, deliver it in person, or donate online.  Please mail donations to:

Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department
200 East Marshall Street
Remington, VA 22734

You can also drop off your donation in person (and take a look around the firehouse).  The department is located at 200 East Marshall Street, Remington, VA 22734

We greatly appreciate your support!

Non-Monetary Donations

Occasionally, citizens donate motor vehicles and vacant buildings to the department.  Even non-functional vehicles are of value, as they are used to practice vehicle extrication skills that ultimately save lives.  Donations of vacant buildings provide the department with valuable spaces to practice life-saving firefighting techniques.  Contact the Fire Chief at chief2@rvfrd.com if you have a vehicle or building structure you’d like to donate.
